Recorded live at Young Camelot in Humbolt Park, Chicago on May 2nd, 2015.

Ka Malita played this show with Foul Tip, Grandkids, Oshwa, and Vaya.

Believe it or not, Ka Malita guitarist Danny Backer lived 4 houses up the street from Young Camelot, so he was easily on time for the show. Chris and Joe were on time for the show too, although their respective houses' proximity to Young Camelot could not account for their punctuality as it could in Danny's case because Joe lives in Logan Square, and Chris lives farther west down North Ave in Humbolt Park.

My, has the time gone. Danny now lives over a thousand miles away in Los Angeles, and the Chicago iteration of Ka Malita must fade into a distant memory. Yet, this live recording may stand as a testament, rather than a vestige, to the power of 3 punctual friends who came together, although traveling individually, on time to get to it and make business.
